For Technology providers
We are seeking technology providers to work with companies accepted into the Digital Boost 2.0 program. The core deliverable is a digital strategy that includes a roadmap of actionable steps the business can take on its digital transformation journey.
TechImpact has outlined the core activities and deliverables of the digital strategies to ensure consistency while allowing for some flexibility for providers to build on this foundation. Check out our digital strategy page for more information.
If you are accepted as a Digital Boost 2.0 qualified technology provider, you will be included in a list that’s shared with businesses accepted into the program. These businesses will choose a technology provider from the list and, together, create the statement of work to be submitted for review by the TechImpact Digital Boost 2.0 Review Committee. Once approved by the Digital Boost 2.0 Review Committee, work can then begin on developing the digital strategy. When the digital strategy is complete, it will be sent to TechImpact for funding to be disbursed.
How do I qualify as a technology provider?
Technology providers must:
Be a commercial (information technology services firm, etc.) or non-commercial (government, academia, etc.) entity operating in Atlantic Canada. Small-medium sized enterprise (SME) internal staff (new or existing employees) are also eligible.
Technology providers must have the knowledge and resources to complete a comprehensive digital strategy or be able to partner with another provider to cover any resource/skill gaps. See “Can I work with another provider?” below for more detail.
As part of the application process, you will be required to submit at least two case studies from past digital strategy projects.
Can I work with another Qualified Technology Provider?
You may work with another qualified technology provider(s) if it is beneficial to the client in order to be able to deliver a comprehensive and quality digital strategy. There must be a lead provider and we will only be accepting an invoice from the lead provider, so it is up to you on how you manage the relationships. If you plan on contracting out work to help deliver the project, you will be required to outline who will be completing what work in the SOW to be submitted before work can begin. This must be approved by the Digital Boost 2.0 Review Committee.
You cannot submit your application until all fields are completed and documents are uploaded. If you have any questions about the application, please contact the Digital Boost 2.0 Program Manager Jacob Dunnett (jacob.dunnett@techimpact.it).
