New Digital Platform for Businesses and Job Seekers to Explore N.B.’s Tech Providers and Digital Ecosystem
--CollabHub Makes It Easy to Find and Source New Brunswick Digital Solutions--
SAINT JOHN, Oct. 12, 2021 –TechImpact is thrilled to announce the launch of CollabHub, a bilingual online platform promoting New Brunswick’s digital ecosystem. CollabHub connects businesses locally and globally that need digital products and services to our province’s rich pool of digital solution providers.
“We created CollabHub because businesses and economic development agencies told us they struggled to find local technology companies to help them with their digital needs and didn’t know enough about where to find our province’s diverse and capable talent,” said Cathy Simpson, CEO of TechImpact. “CollabHub fills that void.”
CollabHub invites all N.B.-based tech providers to create a free profile in its industry directory. Click here to apply.
Along with extending the “buy local” movement to digital products and services, CollabHub features a robust careers section with links to job boards promoting opportunities in New Brunswick’s booming tech sector. And its resources, news and events have the latest on what’s happening in New Brunswick’s digital ecosystem.
In April, ACOA announced an investment of more than $3.7 million for TechImpact to launch Digital Boost 2.0, a program to help companies create a digital strategy to guide their technology investments and adoption, and CollabHub. In addition to its support from ACOA, CollabHub is funded by the Government of New Brunswick.
“We’re fortunate to have many talented people working in our tech sector here in New Brunswick and we’re pleased to be a partner in this innovative project,” said Trevor Holder, Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour. “CollabHub will help the tech sector grow while supporting other sectors looking for digital solutions. This digital platform is also a good opportunity to address the workforce needs of our province and connect passionate solutions-driven people together.”
“CollabHub is your single source for New Brunswick tech sector opportunities,” said Cathy Simpson. “I invite all local solution providers to sign up today and join this lively digital community.”
CollabHub is TechImpact’s latest initiative to advance the digital transformation of companies in Atlantic Canada. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for businesses to adopt new technologies and processes to remain competitive, increase productivity and drive sustainable growth. TechImpact is a private sector-led organization focused on building a vibrant and growing Atlantic Canadian economy by using technology to unlock the region’s potential.
